"Thankyou for all the great help with my sons maths.
He achieved a 1 level pass in his standard grade maths
exam and intends to study higher. I will recommend you
for private maths tuition in the future"

"I was struggling with my higher maths and my friend
suggested a private maths tutor. Mathminds covered all
areas of Glasgow and would visit me at home or meet at
an agreed location which made my maths tutoring much easier"
David Kerr, Glasgow

How
will I arrange the first session? |
| After
accepting the tutor offered, the tutor will contact you
within 24 hours to arrange a place and time for the first
session to your mutual convenience. |
| 3.
What
should I expect from tuition? |
| You
should expect that the tutor will have a thorough knowledge
of the syllabus, be very skilled in Mathematics and capable
of providing you with the support and encouragement to
learn. |
| 5.
If
the tutor is unsuitable what should I do? |
| In
the unlikely event that the tutor is unsuitable you should
inform us immediately by calling 0141 221 1481 or emailing
administrator@mathminds.co.uk.
All of our tutors are thoroughly vetted by checking their
references, performing Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks
where required and meeting them in person to check their
original credentials and suitability to tutor. |
| 7.
How
do I pay? |
| You
pay the tutor at the end of each session by cash (preferably)
or cheque. |
| 9.
Do
I require to book a block of tuition? |
| No,
you can request a tutor for as little as one session if
that is all that is required. However we would recommend
more than one session to benefit from the tuition. The
earlier you begin tuition the less frequently you will
require tuition approaching the exam as you will already
be well prepared. |
| 10.
What
do I do to end tuition? |
| To
end tuition inform the tutor of your intentions with at
least one weeks notice. We will contact you in due course
to identify the reason for the termination, to receive
feedback regarding the service provided and to check if
we can be of further service to you. |
| 11.
Where
is the best place to conduct tuition? |
| In
a quiet area at a well lit desk away from any distractions.
Do not conduct tuition in the tutee's bedroom. Do not
be an overbearing presence; being in the next room will
be sufficient. |
