Eligibility to work in the UK
A good standard of literacy and
oral communication skills, (if you are not a native
speaker of English TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge FCE, Proficiency
or Advanced certificates or a university certificate
will be required)
Personal attributes suitable for
tutoring: patience, reliability, ability to provide
encouragement and support and to put others at ease
Qualification (minimum):
University degree with Hons in relevant subject area
Teaching qualification in relevant subject area
University degree and teaching qualification in relevant
subject area
Knowledge of the current syllabus
Experience of teaching/tutoring
Availability to provide tuition
up until the time initially agreed
Suitable materials for yourself
and your students to use during the lessons
An Enhanced CRB (Criminal
Records Bureau) Disclosure which is under 3 years old.
We can help you apply if you do not possess a CRB Enhanced
Disclosure or if you have one which is more than 3 years
old.
